Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary is an accessible green space in Victoria, BC. The Nature Sanctuary is comprised of two physically and ecologically distinct areas – a low wetland area around Swan Lake and a Garry Oak meadow on Christmas Hill.The 160+ acres of  Nature Sanctuary are vital for protecting rare and threatened plants, fungi, and animals, preserving the health of the Colquitz River Watershed, and connecting more than 60,000 visitors to nature each year. We offer community educational programs to learners of all ages.Visit us in the Nature House Gift Shop and pick up a unique learning kit! Bring your own fossils for identification by experts! Learn and create with hands-on activities.Please come during your assigned hour so we can manage occupancy and not overload the event or our parking lots. One ticket is valid for a family/group OR an individual - the main purpose of the tickets is to manage vehicle numbers. :)Free Parking, if the main lot is full please park at alternate locations indicated on the map below.Proof of vaccination required for ages 12+Admission by Donation to support the Victoria Palaeontology Society and Nature Sanctuary.
