Join our online info session to learn more about the rewarding journey of fostering. This session will provide you with valuable information and answer any questions you may have.During the session, you will gain insights into the process of becoming a foster parent, including the requirements and support available to you. Our Recruitment Worker and a current foster parent will answer any questions you might have.Don't miss out on this opportunity to make a difference in a child's life!You will be emailed a Zoom link within one business day of your free ticket order to tune in.Currently, there are approoximately 485 children in the care of the Children's Aid Society of London &amp; Middlesex, and only 121 foster homes. We are seeking homes that can offer both short and long-term care of children, for all ages. It is important to highlight that as with agencies across Ontario, there is an over-representation of transgender &amp; non-binary youth, Black, and Indigenous children in care who deserve caregivers who can reflect &amp; honour their unique identities. We believe that all children belong in supportive family-based care within their communities in order to thrive.ABOUT USThe Children’s Aid Society of London &amp; Middlesex (CASLM) provides services to vulnerable children, youth and families in Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada. Accountable to the community as a whole, our mission is to ensure that all children and youth thrive in a safe, stable and loving family. The identity of the children, youth and families we serve is kept in the strictest confidence. Our hope is that our assistance will contribute to increase the well-being of children and youth through an effective, dynamic and child-centred/youth-centred organization.
