The Cut Foundation: 7-Week Technical Cutting Intensive

Hair school gives you the beginning. Confidence behind the chair comes from structure, repetition, coaching, and a deeper understanding of why a haircut works.

The Cut Foundation is a 7-week technical haircutting intensive designed for new and developing stylists who want to build stronger foundations, cleaner technique, and more confidence behind the chair.

This is not a one-day inspiration class. It is a hands-on education program created to bridge the gap between hair school and real salon confidence.

Over 7 Mondays, students will learn foundational cutting theory, technical breakdowns, sectioning, elevation, overdirection, body position, consultation, and practical cutting skills through a mix of demonstration, guided practice, and personalized coaching.

In addition to weekly class time, students will be expected to complete one haircut each week outside of class on a real person/model. This required practice allows students to apply what they are learning, document their process, and receive feedback and assessment from the educators. Students are responsible for arranging their weekly model and completing all practice work in a safe, professional, and legally appropriate setting.

This program is ideal for recent hair school graduates, apprentices, junior stylists, stylists returning to the chair, or any stylist who wants to feel more confident and consistent with haircutting.

Led by experienced educators with over 20 years in the beauty industry, this small-group program is designed to create a supportive learning environment where stylists can ask questions, practice intentionally, and build the technical confidence needed to grow behind the chair.

Seats are limited to keep the experience personal, hands-on, and highly supportive.
