Framing Our Future: #CDNVote2019
Event Information
About this event
In less than two months on October 21st, Canadians will head to the polls to determine the future of our country. Young Canadians make up the largest voting block in this election, and it’s crucial for us to centre the voices of marginalized young women and gender-diverse youth in discussions leading up to election day.
At this forum, we will highlight the work of diverse civic leaders, explore the issues facing our communities, and encourage voter turnout among participants.
Agenda:
Keynote speech and Q&A with Brittany Andrew Amofah
Panel Discussion moderated by Jasmine Rezaee with Sara Asalya, Victoria Anderson-Gardner, and Saman Tabasinejad.
Our Voices, Our Votes: Young women & gender-diverse leaders will have the chance to talk about why they will be voting in the upcoming election.
Voter Engagement Activity - TBA
* This event is open to all self-identified women and gender-diverse youth and supporters.
