<p>Espalier is a very old method of training fruit trees to grow against a wall or frame to increase fruit production while controlling the size and shape of the tree. There is a resurgence of interest in espalier as a way to increase fruit production in a limited space.</p><p>Join Greg Houghton to learn some fruit-tree pruning basics and get an introduction to planting and pruning trees for espalier. Participants will have the chance to practice pruning techniques on established espalier trees. Workshop is suitable for anyone wanting to learn more about fruit-tree pruning whether or not you&#x27;re growing espalier.</p>
