Do I need to know how to drum or sing?

Nope! This space is for all skill levels—whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned musician. The focus is on presence, rhythm, and connection, not perfection.

Is this event only for women?

Accepted Answer

This circle is open to women and femmes—including cis women, trans women, nonbinary folks who feel called to women’s spaces, and all femme-presenting individuals. It’s a sacred, inclusive space for us to gather in community and ritual.

Question 3

What if I don't have a drum?

Accepted Answer

That’s totally okay! Message me to request a loaner—there are a limited number of extra drums and percussion instruments available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Question 4

What kind of drum should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Frame drums, djembes, tambourines, rattles, shakers, even a bucket if it has a beat—you’re welcome to bring whatever you feel comfortable with. Frame drums, djembes, and hand drums tend to blend well for this kind of circle.

Question 5

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Whatever makes you feel comfortable and magical! Flowing skirts, cozy layers, ritual garb, or just your comfiest clothes. There will be some movement, so dress in a way that feels free.

Question 6

Is this a scent-free event?

Accepted Answer

This is not a scent-free event. The circle includes smoke cleansing with mugwort and sometimes essential oils. Let me know ahead of time if you have sensitivities, and I’ll do my best to make sure you’re seated in a well-ventilated area.

Is this event kid-friendly?

Accepted Answer

This event is designed for adults, and we ask that participants be 16+. If you’re a caregiver and want to come, message me and we can discuss accommodations.
