Sun Coast Swing is incredibly excited to present Funky Swing at Seaside Centre in Sechelt! Funky Swing, more formally known as West Coast Swing, is taking the Sunshine Coast by storm and we are so looking forward to welcoming you to our burgeoning community!I﻿f you have ever wanted to learn how to dance, this is the most versatile and modern social dance you can pick up, as it can be danced to almost all modern popular music such as pop, rock, house, R&amp;B, hip hop, soul blues, jazz, country and, of course, classical swing tunes! *Whew! That&#x27;s a lot!*Y﻿es, West Coast Swing (WCS for short) has got you covered, my friend, and all you&#x27;ve got to do is show up!Your progressive funky swing course begins Thursday February 16th and runs for 6 consecutive weeks until March 23rd. Each class will be followed by a practice dance party with your fellow students, instructors, and other social dancers; admission for which is included in your course package. Beginner Level I class begins at 6 PM and the practice party starts at 7:15 PM and goes until 8:45 PM.To reserve your spot, w﻿e&#x27;ve made it easy for you. Tickets are $80 in advance or $120 at the door for all 6 beginner classes.
