Homeshow focusing on how green products and services can save you money on your energy bill. Free Admission, Vendors, Door Prizes!

This unique event will showcase companies and individuals that offer green energy technologies and services to local residents and homeowners. The focus is to demonstrate how saving energy can help lower household energy costs. People today know that green energy is important for our future and will welcome an opportunity to browse the many ways this can be achieved.

Admission is free and features a diverse array of local vendors specializing in sustainable products and services, from roofing to solar panels. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to listen to presentations and engage informative speakers covering topics such as rainwater harvesting, heat pumps, and sustainable home design. Other highlights include Door Prizes and a Silent Auction.

Presented by Paul West . VP Sales for Solar Direct Canada. Operating from Acton Ontario since 1990, Solar Direct Canada is a wholly Canadian owned solar company. Paul holds a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Prior to joining Solar Direct Canada, Paul operated his own Engineering Consulting firm, where he specialized in renewable energy system design, efficiency, and performance optimization.

WaterFarmers Urban Agriculture

Presented by Garrett Tribble, the owner of WaterFarmers Urban Agriculture, a construction and landscaping company that helps people grow food, manage water, and create green spaces for human and wildlife use. Garrett is a graduate of the University of Guelph and currently lives in Hamilton Ontario, but grew up on Burnhamthorpe Road. just north of Oakville. He is an advocate of "functional landscapes" at home and in the community, and works to help people make the most of their land to produce food, collect rainwater, and create healthy, beneficial landscapes.
