Is this safe and strctured?

Yes. We have a clear schedule that will be emailed out to the parents, and we will have volunteers and instructors that will be with the students at all times, and it will be a guided environment.

Do accept Neuro-divergent youth?

Of course! Glorife & Company Ltd. is an inclusive and diverse business. In the programs developed by Glo & Co Ltd., we keep that policy and structure in mind.

What will my kid actually get out of this?

This is more than just a "fun" place they will be. They'll learn confidence, communication skills, real-world exposure (of course this will be monitored) and a final finished project.

Is this worth the money?

We think so!  Your kids will be able to use their skills in the modern world. Some of the things we will cover are not taught at school and if they show interest, it could be something they may decide to focus on in their future. We also cover creative and practical business concepts.

Will my child feel comfortable?

We intend on keeping this small. We are working towards providing a supportive and inclusive environment but removing the pressure of performing from it. We will be encouraging open communication with each participant and all conversations will be respectful of their privacy and their needs.

What are the age ranges?

This program is for kids ages 8-12. We do have other programming for different ages. If you're interested, send us an email and we can let you know when that program will be starting.

What does the schedule look like?

For now, we are able to accommodate Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is a pilot program and if there is enough interest for us to continue, we will be including the rest of the week in the mix.

What will the kids need to bring?

Since technology is a thing these days, I do encourage that the kids bring a notebook or an iPad, or if they have their own mobiles, to bring it. While they won't necessarily be using it for every session, they will be taught how to use the editing programs (if they don't already know how).

What happens if they miss a session?

Due to the sessions being condensed, if a session is missed, we will work with the kid (and may send home homework via email to the parents) of what they've missed and can work with them in the next session so that they do not fall behind.

Is this a social media class?

Not necessarily - this is more about creative thinking, communication and understanding how ideas and brands work.

Does my child need experience?

No, there is no experience needed. We do encourage curiosity.

Is this ore creative or business-focused?

Accepted Answer

A mix of both, actually. We will focus on the creative expression with real-world applications. If the group wants to explore building a simple business and marketing it, we encourage that, and you'll be able to reap the benefits of their hard work by spending your money at their Showcase.
