Gaining & Giving Across Generations

Gaining & Giving Across Generations

Monkland Tennis Club (The)Montréal, QC
Thursday, Mar 12 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm
Overview

Planning for aging parents while shaping your own legacy.

Many women find themselves in the middle — supporting aging parents while quietly realizing it’s time to plan for their own future.

In recognition of International Women’s Day 2026 and this year’s theme, Give To Gain, we're bringing together a panel of experts to explore the practical and emotional decisions that arise as parents age and how we can plan accordingly for our own legacies.

This conversation will cover:

  • Planning for aging parents before decisions become urgent
  • Housing transitions, downsizing and selling a family home
  • How legal, financial, and estate planning fit together
  • The emotional realities of caregiving and changing family roles
  • How planning ahead protects both generations

Designed for women who are caring for a parent, starting difficult conversations, or thinking proactively about legacy, this event offers clarity, perspective, and practical guidance — without pressure or overwhelm.

A thoughtful discussion about care, legacy, and the choices that shape generations.

🗓️ Thursday March 12th

📍 Monkland Tennis Club, 4225 av Royal (NDG)
