Game Development Kids Program (Weekly Course)

We are excited to offer the Full Circle CS game development training program.

You will be leveling up your skills each week as we cover a wide breadth of areas taught by industry professional, Gavin Ball: design, art & animation, programming and audio. This is an ongoing class, where we build on our skills by creating multiple mini projects. We will focus on creating games using an open source software pipeline (Godot, Blender, Krita, Affinity, etc). Parents are welcome to join the class with their kids!

Program Details

Who should Attend👥: Kids (ages 9 -12). Note: We also offer weekly courses for adults (ages 18+), let us know if you are interested and we will send you more information.

Instructor Snapshot 🍎:

Gavin Ball (Art & Animation): Gavin Ball is a digital media artist specializing in art direction, concept art, and illustration for games and animation. He has been working as an in-studio artist and freelancer for 15 years. He has also taught at several post secondary animation and game programs in Ontario and is currently an associate teaching professor at Ontario Tech University in their Game Development and Interactive Media program. As a freelancer, Gavin has worked on projects such as Fortnite, Apex Legends, and ABC’s Blackish (animated special) as well as several unannounced projects for Microsoft, EA and Blizzard.
