Hosted by the geekStarter program at MindFuel, this workshop will bring together teams working on automation and robotics projects for a day of engaging skill building activities, practical tips and insights from experienced mentors and subject matter experts.

Bogdan Georgescu - B.Sc, M. Sc, PhD Electrical Engineering; Pre-service teacher for Math and Computer Science

 

Boris Kacmar - Electrical Engineer at General Electric

Derwyn Henderson - B.Sc Mechanical Engineering

Derwyn is a young Mechanical Engineering professional with a passion for mechanical and electrical systems. He has been mentoring Ernest Manning Robotics, an FRC robotics team, for 3 consecutive years and will be continuing to mentor this upcoming FRC robotics season.

Eiden Yoshida - B.Sc Mechanical Engineering, M.Sc  of Engineering in Software Design

Eiden just started a career as a software engineer and enjoys working on machine learning and electronics projects in his spare time. He originally studied mechanical engineering and spent countless hours working with computer aided design and rapid prototyping.

Kushan Wickramarachchi - B.Sc Mechanical Engineering

Kushan is currently completing an internship in Mechanical Engineering. Kushan is an active member of Schulich Aerodesign, where he designs remotely controlled planes.

Jeffery Yang - B.Sc Applied Mathematics, M.Sc Statistics

Jeffery is an experienced Data Scientist that specializes in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Jeffery is currently working at ATB Financial focusing on fighting against fraudsters be leveraging the power of data analytics and artificial intelligence.
