Community Futures West Yellowhead

In partnership with the Government of Alberta and the Community Futures West Yellowhead, the Canadian Geothermal Energy Association is excited to announce the kick-off of our travelling geothermal 101 seminar titled, “What about Geothermal in Alberta?” Come enjoy a breakfast and listen to CanGEA representatives breakdown the basics of geothermal energy, its benefits and potential applications within Hinton and Alberta. The goal of this seminar is to clear up misconceptions and present the case for why geothermal energy should play a role in Alberta and Canada’s energy futures. The project will also look to target other municipalities in Alberta, including Leduc, Calgary, and others to be announced soon!
