Get On Stage Improv Drop In

Get On Stage Improv Drop In

Overview

For improvisers looking to get on stage and perform. While ‘Getting on Stage’ is not a requirement, that's what we're working towards.

This class focuses on what it takes to be engaging, to have an audience enjoy your work. We work on controlling what YOU, the performer, can control. You can’t control being ‘funny’, you can’t control if an audience likes you, you can’t control being ‘good’ (a meaningless phrase) but we’ll focus on what you CAN control.

Performance Class Schedule

First Thursday - Building A Short Form Show

Second Thursday - The Directed Play

Third Thursday - The 8-Minute Monoscene (Dramatic Improv)

Fourth Thursday - Genre and Scripted Improv

Fifth Thursday - Character

Instructor – Ralph MacLeod – email ralph@socap.ca to ask your questions!
