Where is the theatre located?

The Red Sandcastle Theatre is located in Toronto, at 922 Queen Street East, on the north side of the street, just east of Logan Avenue.

Is the theatre accessible?

From the Red Sandcastle Theatre's website: "We have a ramp at our Queen Street entrance, with a manual door. We also have the ability to remove chairs to make way for wheelchairs in our audience. Our first floor unisex washroom is also wheelchair compatible."

Where can I park, if I'm driving?

There are a number of Green P and private lots nearby, as well as metered parking on Queen Street East. Please consult your favourite parking app or Google Maps, in order to find the parking location that suits you best.

How do I get there by TTC?

Accepted Answer

Please plan your route on any of the TTC apps, according to your starting location. The streetcar runs in both directions on Queen St. E. and there are buses running north-south along the nearby cross-streets. Please allow adequate time to account for any possible construction or transit delays.

What is the running time of the show?

The show runs approximately 70 minutes in length but each performance will vary slightly. That's the nature of live theatre.

Will there be an intermission?

No, there will be no intermission. Please monitor your fluid intake accordingly and be sure to use the washroom facilities before the start of the play.

Will tickets be available at the door?

Online ticket sales end each day at 7:45 p.m. Tickets may be available at the door, but only if we haven't sold out online. It's best to secure your tickets in advance, in order to avoid disappointment. Only cash or e-transfer will be accepted at the door, so please come prepared.

Will there be reserved seating?

All tickets are general admission, with no pre-assigned seating. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you require accessible seating, please contact us, after having purchased your ticket, and we will reserve a seat for you.

Can I receive a refund for my ticket, if I am unable to attend?

Accepted Answer

This is a limited run. Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferable. If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to transfer or sell your ticket to a friend or consider the purchase price to be a donation to our fledgling theatre group.

Is the play suitable for all ages?

This play is recommended for ages 14+. Parental discretion is strongly advised. There will be adult themes and F-bombs. This is is a George F. Walker production, after all.

Where can I eat before or after the show?

Accepted Answer

There are many excellent restaurants, cafés, and bars in the neighbourhood, in a variety of price points. Please investigate the many available options online. You won't be disappointed in the selection.
