Sunday Fused glass workshop for beginners! Make a coaster, window hanging, or pendant necklace.

Eventbrite booking fees are non-refundable. 100% of ticket price is refunded with 14 days notice or more. 50% of ticket price is refunded if less than 14 notice is given. No refunds for cancellations made les than 24 hours before a class. Claytime & Glasstime date changes require 14 days notice or more. Full refund policies here.

Event info:

Get creative with glass! Make your choice of a coaster OR window hanging. Each ticket includes 1 kiln-fired glass item.

Our instructor will give a brief lesson on fused glass, and the rest of the time is yours to create a one-of-a-kind artwork! Get creative with colour and texture to create a unique, functional piece of art.

During the workshop, please photograph your artwork so you can identify it when it comes out of the kiln. Thank you!

Artwork Pickup + Kiln Firing:

Items will be kiln fired after the workshop by our studio technicians. You will be emailed 4-6 weeks after the workshop when items are ready for pick up. We email the ticket buyer only when items are ready for pickup. Please notify those you have bought tickets for that their pieces are ready. We will email attendees directly if there is an issue with their piece.

Groups with children:

Children aged 10-14 are welcome to attend the workshop as long as they are accompanied by an adult who also has a ticket. 1 adult can bring up to 2 children (all must have a ticket).

Support workers and personal care attendants are free:

If you have special needs or medical requirements and would like to come to claytime with a personal care attendant, please book online and then email Isabella at isabella@theclayandglass.ca to add a +1 to your booking free of charge. Personal care attendants are welcome to make a glass project during the program.

After the Workshop:

• Take a photo of your piece during the workshop so you can identify it. Pieces change shape, change colour, and might look very similar to things made by other people.
• You are responsible for picking up your finished artwork. Firing takes approximately 4-6 weeks. We send out emails to ticket buyers when items are ready for pick up. If you do not receive an email (they do sometimes get lost or go to spam!) you are responsible for emailing a photo of your piece and the date of your workshop to isabella@theclayandglass.ca. Items not picked up will be disposed of due to limited shelf space.
• Pick up at the front desk. Once items are ready for pickup, you will recieve an email and can retrieve your artwork from our front desk during regular gallery hours.
