Green Lunch: Plastic Reduction

Green Action Centre is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, based in Winnipeg and serving Manitoba since 1985. We are a registered charity, governed by an elected community board. We promote greener living through environmental education and encourage practical green solutions for households, workplaces, schools and communities. Our primary areas of focus include green commuting, composting and waste reduction, sustainable living and resource conservation.

Green Action Centre

Join Green Action Centre in the Eco-Centre board room for a screening of CBC Marketplace's video "Why buying plastic free groceries is so hard." 
Event is free to attend. Attendees are invited to bring their own lunch or pay $10 to partake in the "Plastic Package Free Lunch" we will be serving (sandwiches and veggies). 
Following the screening of the video, we will have a brief collaborative discussion about ways in which we can decrease (or even eliminate) single-use plastics from our grocery shopping experience.
