#GreenEquity Professionals Networking Night

Through intensive fellowship programs, workshops, and classes, the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) helps everyday people tackle complex societal challenges by building social purpose businesses, non-profit organizations, cooperatives, or other social projects for the benefit of their community. SSE is a project on Tides Canada’s shared platform, a registered charity which provides governance, HR, financial, and grant management for environmental and social projects. Tides Canada is accredited under Imagine Canada’s Standards Program that recognizes charities and non-profits for excellence in governance, management, and transparency.

The #GreenEquity Professionals Networking Night is pleased to host our next gathering at the wonderful<A TITLE="Hashtag Gallery" HREF="https://www.hashtaggallery.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> #Hashtag Gallery</A> in Toronto. We hope you can join for a viewing of the #planetlove interactive art installation and a discussion about advancing #greenequity in the public service. Meet other individuals working to make our city, province, and country more sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous. Light refreshments will be served.

About #planetlove
The #planetlove project is <A TITLE="PlanetLove" HREF="https://www.hashtaggallery.com/blogs/upcoming-shows/april-12-21-lubna-mousa-kim-foster-yardley-planetlove" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">an interactive art installation</A> that celebrates our planet in this month of EarthHour. We invite viewers to rethink their relationship with the planet from one that sees the planet as a resource to one where we co-exist with the planet as a fellow being. Behind #planetlove are Lubna Mousa, an Iraqi-Canadian visual artist, and Kim Foster Yardley, a South African born visual artist. Both are based in Toronto. They collaborate in their passion for the environment by raising awareness of the impact of climate change and the urgent need for earth rights.

The <A TITLE="Green Economy Bridging Program, Ryerson U" HREF="https://ce-online.ryerson.ca/ce/default.aspx?id=3855" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Green Economy Bridging Program at Ryerson University</A> is partnering with <A TITLE="SELECT Climate Program" HREF="https://www.the-sse.ca/courses/social-entrepreneurial-leaders-enabling-climate-transitions-select/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The SELECT Climate Program</A>, jointly run by <A TITLE="Enviromentum" HREF="https://www.enviromentum.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Enviromentum</A> and the <A TITLE="SSE Ontario" HREF="https://www.the-sse.ca/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">School for Social Entrpereneurs </A>to host a fun series of networking evenings with green professionals working toward #greenequity and a more diverse environmental movement. Whether you're just getting into the field of sustainability or you're a seasoned professional, we hope to see you there.
