Flipside Opera is a non-profit vocal arts performance organization based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.Our mission is to challenge vocal repertoire to be theatrical. Whether it's art song, cabaret, or opera, Flipside productions are fresh, engaging, intimate, audacious, and of the highest quality. We employ Manitoban artists and showcase Canadian repertoire with which audiences can identify.

Flipside Opera & Art Song Collective

Flipside Opera presents a celebration of the music of John Greer.  Canadian Composer John Greer's music is rooted in folk themes and stories that seem to connect back to his prairie roots.  In this concert you will hear selections of Greers music for solo voice as well as ensemble incorporating familiar tunes and texts with beautiful and, at times, humorous themes.
This concert will feature soprano's Jessica Kos-Whicher(2016 Opera Idol Winner) and Judith Oatway, mezzo soprano Elizabeth Surdhar, tenor Aaron Hutton(2015 Opera Idol Winner), baritone Matthew Pauls and pianists Lisa Rumpel and Dr. Laura Loewen.
