<p>We are grieving every day, in big ways and small ways, for loved ones, past selves, for all of humankind, for the earth and sometimes we grieve all of these things at once. When we give time to allow ourselves to name all that we grieve, it can be incredibly liberating. It opens our world up even more to the sensations of grief seeping into every aspect of our lives. When we are inspired to tune into our emotional selves, we learn to allow space to explore the meaning of our loss from a place of empowerment. How our bodies respond to the changes in us and around us is an important tool in understanding how we navigate through difficult times.</p><p>This workshop is accessible to everyone of any experience because movement hints at something that temporarily changes our current experience. Something as simple as the blink of an eye, or the lifting of a finger changes where we just were. Even the act of visualization and imagination are kinds of movement. Because it is framed this way, it makes it accessible for anyone to participate who feels called to connect with their grief in a physical way. This grief &amp; movement class is for individuals who are experiencing a great deal of loss due to racial, physical, economic disparities caused by oppressive imperial regimes. To individuals who have lost pets, loved ones, jobs, or themselves. Whatever the grievances are, welcome. The workshop is intended to help connect individuals to their grief in a physical way and build a framework of tools to help move through challenging emotions in a safe and gentle way.</p>
