T﻿he Grief Recovery Method is an evidence-based system with weekly activities and engagement designed to move grievers through their unresolved grief toward healing and wholeness. Offered in conjunction with Holos Psychological Services, our goal is to educate, unburden, and heal. It IS possible to work through the most profound experiences of loss and find healing and purpose once again.

Riverwest Therapy Collective

Welcome to the Grief Recovery Method, an action-oriented, evidence-based program to help you overcome unresolved grief.Join us at Riverwest Therapy Collective for eight weeks and 16 hours of integrated learning and healing. Learn how to overcome the myths surrounding grief such as "it just takes time", "s/he's in a better place now", "you'll find a better job", and so much more! There are over 43 types of loss mentioned in the scientific literature, and every person experiences grief and loss differently. This workshop is designed to help you navigate the complex emotions that have evolved through your loss. Whether you're dealing with the death of a loved one, a breakup, or any other form of loss, this event is here to provide you with tools and resources to cope.Our experienced facilitator will guide you through powerful exercises and discussions to help you process your unresolved grief in a safe and nurturing environment. You'll have the opportunity to connect with others who are also on a healing journey, sharing stories and insights along the way.Grieving the loss of a pet? Look for our event specific to pet loss, starting Saturday, October 4 from 10am - 12pm.Don't face your grief alone - come join us at the Grief Recovery Method workshop and take a step towards healing and renewal.Please note - this workshop is not suitable for those having experienced a very recent loss.
