Ways to Honor and Navigate Grief through the Holidays:  Workshop and Candle-lighting Activity

Are you wondering how to get through the holiday season after the loss of an important person in your life? Facilitated by a bereavement counsellor and bereavement volunteer, come and participate in Victoria Hospice’s free workshop to discuss grief, and learn tips to help you cope with and navigate grief during the holidays. Along with other people who are grieving someone important in their life, participants will have an opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and learn about how to care for themselves as they grieve through this holiday season. At the end of this workshop, participants will be invited to join together in a candle-lighting activity, meant to offer time to honor and reflect on their grief and their person. This grief activity will include music, poetry, candle-lighting, and heartfelt reflection.
