At this two-day hackathon, we will explore solutions for open sourced offline mapping on mobile devices.

We’re hosting a good old-fashioned hackathon. Our goal is to prototype a re-usable, open sourced, offline mapping component for mobile devices.We’re going to put a bunch of people in a room, give them pizza, and see what comes out.When?Day 1: Monday, March 2, 2020. 8:30am to 4:30pm.Day 2: Friday, March 6, 2020. 8:30am to 4:30pm.Where?Alliance Room, 2nd Floor, Exchange Lab, 1012 Douglas St, VictoriaGet InvolvedTo participate, please register via Eventbrite. Participants are encouraged to submit ideas to <a href="https://trello.com/b/izHdEvZw/mapathon" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">this “Mapathon” Trello board</a> by February 26. Once you have registered on Eventbrite, you will receive an invite to access the Trello board as a member.<ul><li>Domain experts: please submit your ideas, desires and problems. </li><li>Coders: please propose achievable solutions.</li></ul>
