Join us for a full-day event of collaborating to create innovative solutions that address affordable housing in the Okanagan.

<h3>Thank you for your interest in Hacking Housing! All of the hacking positions are now filled but we encourage you to join us at the Pitch Event where they will share their innovative solutions. You can learn more and register <a href="http://hackinghousingpitches2022.eventbrite.ca/?s=187288449 " target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>.</h3>How might we mitigate the stressors surrounding affordable housing in the Okanagan Valley?That&#x27;s the question that we invite you address at the Hacking Housing Hackathon. Hacking Housing is all about collaboration and ideation. During this full-day event teams will be formed, break down the challenge statement, and then get hacking. Using a Design Thinking process, solutions and prototypes will come alive in a matter of hours. At the end of the day, teams will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges.Not a coder? Not a problem! You don’t have to be a developer or know how to code to participate. There is no specific expertise needed to join—in fact, the more variety in skill sets and experience, the better!
