There will be accessible washrooms available on-site.

How do I get there by transit?

Accepted Answer

Transit Directions: From Wilson Station, take the 96 or 165 bus to Garratt Blvd. and walk north 750m to the skating rink. Alternatively, from Wilson Station, take the 120 bus to Gilley Road at Garratt Blvd. and walk north 260m to the skating rink.

Parking is available onsite. The entrance for cars and pedestrians is located across from 95 Garratt Blvd.

Is this a rain-or-shine event?

Accepted Answer

The roller skating trail will be open regardless of the weather conditions. The ice rink will only be open if the weather conditions have allowed the ice to properly freeze. Should this occur, an email to registered patrons will be sent.

Is skate sharpening available on-site?

Unfortunately, there will not be skate-sharpening services available on-site.

Will there be food and drink available for sale?

There will not be food or drink available for sale on-site. We encourage guests to bring their own snacks and hot beverages!

There will not be any storage lockers on-site.

What do I need to rent skates?

A credit card or government-issued ID will be held at the skate rental counter until the skates are returned.

Can I use the rink to play sports?

No. The rink is intended for free skating only. Sports will not be permitted.

Do I need to bring my own helmet?

Accepted Answer

We have a limited number of ice skating helmets available onsite to rent for free and helmets are mandatory for youth under 12 on the ice. We do not have any roller skating helmets available onsite to rent. We recommend bringing your own bicycle or skating helmet for roller skating.

Question 13

Can I bring my own roller skates or roller blades?

Accepted Answer

Roller skates are available for free rental onsite. You are welcome to bring your own roller skates as long as they are in good condition and not creating scuff marks on the floor. Roller blades are not allowed on the roller-skating track.
