Seattle indie-folk singer-songwriter Hayden Everett brings his dense catalog to The Cobalt, supported by Victoria's Thistle.
The Cobalt presents Hayden Everett with Thistle.
Hayden Everett (Seattle, WA)
Seattle-based indie-folk singer-songwriter Hayden Everett has spent the last few years quietly building one of the most compelling catalogs in the Pacific Northwest underground. Jazz-trained, solo-backpacking-in-the-woods inspired, and possessed of a voice that makes intimate rooms feel like the only place to be, Everett has crossed 50 million streams, released the Friends & Family EP in 2025, and toured with The Paper Kites and Hazlett. His debut album So The Sun Can Pour, mixed by Tucker Martine, arrives in 2026 and early singles like Killer Whale and Angela have already confirmed what his fanbase has known for a while - this is an artist worth paying close attention to.
Thistle (Victoria, BC)
A multi-member folk and classic rock project led by brothers Aidan and Declan McLennan out of Victoria, Thistle blend sweeping acoustic guitars and layered vocal harmonies into a lush, textured sound rooted in their Scottish heritage and their father's musical past. Their debut full-length Let the Earth Lay Fallow, released September 25th 2026, was preceded by a theatrical live performance in collaboration with dozens of Victoria artists featuring puppets, dance, and elaborate costumes. On stage they expand to a six-piece, and their live shows are built to sweep audiences into something that feels genuinely unlike anything else.
