Healthy Aging Hackathon

ShiftKey Labs is a non-profit located in Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Computer Science that introduces post-secondary students to applied technical innovation and entrepreneurship.ShiftKey hosts a broad range of computer science-related workshops, networking events, material resources, and supports that help build practical, transferrable skills in high-demand by current and future employers. Entrepreneurially-minded students gain additional access to mentorship and financial supports specifically aimed at advancing potential startup ideas.

ShiftKey Labs and Pulse are proud to present the Healthy Aging Hackathon. Take part in this 3-day event and bring your innovative ideas!

For the first time, Shiftkey Labs and health innovation sandbox, Pulse, are partnering to host a virtual hackathon to solve problems in healthy aging and continuing care January 29-31st.The COVID-19 pandemic has brought new challenges in the field, and health amongst the senior population is one of the main issues that needs to be addressed.In this intensive innovation event, teams will collaborate to develop new solutions to challenges in the senior healthcare sector. In the end, students will present their software-based solution prototype to compete for amazing prizes!
