Whether it’s wounds, scrapes, burns, bruises, insect stings, tick bites. . . there is so much more than just polysporin and peroxide. Experiencing herbal first-aid makes people believe in herbal medicine because the herbs work so well, and the results are obvious. You will develop a sense of empowerment knowing you can deal with day to day injuries safely and naturally, reducing pain and speeding healing.
In this full day workshop, you will:
- Learn how to effectively address common first aid situations like wounds, burns, bites/stings, bruises, and sprains with herbs (and what is too serious for treating at home)
- Learn in detail the most common and useful first-aid plants to have on hand.
- Make indispensable herbal preparations for first aid, like salves, poultices, powders, compresses and infused honeys.
- Make your own herbal first-aid kit to bring home with you!
That’s right. Each participant will go home with their own herbal first-aid kit that you can start using right away with the knowledge you have gained. All materials are provided.
