HIV 101

Urban Native Youth Association (UNYA) offers culturally-responsive and prevention focused programs that support the well-being of Indigenous youth. Today, UNYA delivers 20+ programs, with 175+ volunteers, 100 staff, and more than 300 community partners, to provideopportunities for these Indigenous youth to develop their knowledge, life and employment skills, and leadership capacity.Together, we arecreating a community of caring in support of Indigenous youth,  to ensure that they have opportunities to reach their fullest potential.UNYA is a registered not-for-profit society with the Province of BC and a federally registered charitable organization.

<DIV CLASS="_1mf _1mj">In this workshop, <A HREF="http://www.youthco.org/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="YouthCo website" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">YouthCo</A> will be joining us to share information about HIV facts, misconceptions, transmission, and safer sex.</DIV>

<DIV CLASS="_1mf _1mj">This workshop series is open to Indigenous youth ages 15 to 30 who identify as Two-Spirit or LGBTQ+ and who are questioning their sexual or gender identities, and for allies who are accompanying Indigenous youth.</DIV>

<H3>About UNYA’s Two-Spirit Collective</H3>

UNYA’s Two-Spirit Collective provides support, resources, and programming for Indigenous youth, ages 15 to 30, who identify as 2-Spirit or LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, gender non-conforming, along with many other identities), and for those who are questioning their sexual or gender identities. </DIV>
