Overview

The theme of the upcoming HTCB Open House event is: “Meet Our Instruments!”

The HTCB is hosting an Open House on Thursday, April 9th, from 3 to 6 pm.

We will be highlighting some of our innovative instruments, showcasing amazing new ways to enhance your research! Drop by the HTCB at TASC2 Room 8201 to learn more about our fabulous facility and the pricing structure with the new academic user discounts! And did we mention pizza and beer? A social event will follow from 6 pm, and all attendees will be granted a free drink ticket!

Four different instruments will be highlighted:

  1. BioTek EL406 Washer Dispenser (Agilent)
  • ELISA automation
  • Bead washing
  • Cell washing/media exchange
  • Bulk reagent dispensing
  • Cell seeding & lots more!

2. MANTIS Liquid Dispenser (Formulatrix)

  • qPCR
  • Cell-based assays
  • Low volume dispensing (~0.1 uL)
  • Nucleic acid work & lots more!

3. WOLF G2 Microfluidic Cell Sorter (Nanocellect)

  • Flow cytometry
  • Single cell sorting

4. BioTek Synergy Neo2 Hybrid Multimode Reader (Agilent)

  • Absorbance
  • Fluorescence
  • Luminescence
