Wish you could edit your digital images like a Pro? Adobe Certified Expert instructor Paul Kelly will give you a solid overview of what your options are, from free image editors that are already on your computer, to the more powerful industry standard programs from Adobe (Photoshop, Lightroom and Elements) and Affinity Photo (Mac, Windows and iPad). No matter what image editor you plan to use, there are core concepts you should understand.
This 3 hour POWER Talk will cover concepts like File Size, Resolution, RGB/CMYK, the importance of having a NON-destructive workflow, preserving your original and a discussion about the available Export options. 
You're welcome to bring your laptop, but you don't need one for this talk. You also aren't required to download any software. This session is meant to help you decide exactly which software you'd like to use to edit your images. There will be future sessions dedicated to learning the specific program that is best suited to you.
 
FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
While the Balmy Beach Club is a licensed establishment, there is no minimum age to attend this event. Anyone under 19 has to leave the Club by 9 pm, but that's when the event is over anyway.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is a free public parking lot right in front of the Balmy Beach Club. If taking public transportation, take the Queen streetcar [501] East to Beech Ave. and walk south. The BBC is at the bottom of the street.
What can I bring into the event?
You don't have to bring anything to this event. As stated above, you're welcome to bring your laptop to take notes or visit some of the websites discussed [there is free wifi throughout the venue], but no software is required.

What's the refund policy?
Full refunds are available up to one week [7 days] before the event. 
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You're welcome to bring your printed ticket, but it is not required. We have a list of registered attendees. 
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes! The person attending simply has to let us know the name on the ticket they are using.
