On October 17, we will rally to Imagine Barrie! Join youth and supporters from across Barrie are demanding to see real climate action.

As the City of Barrie begins drafting for its upcoming Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan, youth are taking to the streets to demand that we see real action. The city is currently not in line to meet Canada&#x27;s greenhouse gas reduction targets. We want to ensure that the city plans for effective climate action and follows through.We will meet at Barrie city hall at 1pm on Sunday, October 17. We will rally for 30 minutes before marching to Meridian place for speeches and performances.This event is being organized by the Simcoe County Environmental Youth Alliance in collaboration with the Simcoe County Greenbelt Coalition.
