This workshop will uncover the topic of imposter syndrome. What it is and how we experience it in our everyday lives. Impostor Syndrome is the sense that you are less accomplished or qualified than your peers. It’s common in many professions, school, extracurricular activities and many other areas of your life. This workshop will also identify the 5 types of imposter syndrome, how to recognize it and how to overcome it. This workshop will also include a few interactive activities to address this topic.


Kimora is a legal professional, advocate, and founder of Youth Unlocked, working at the intersection of justice, advocacy, and community care. She holds a B.A. (Honours) in Criminology and a Paralegal degree, specializing in gender-based violence, family law, and intimate partner violence.

Through Youth Unlocked, she supports marginalized and justice-involved youth through mentorship, education, and advocacy. Under her leadership, the organization secured over $60,000 in grant funding and received the 2025 Mayor’s Community Safety Award for its Gun Violence Prevention Program. She was also recognized with the 2025 40 Under 40 Youth Service Award for her work in empowerment and development.

Kimora is the published author of Police Brutality and Its Unseen Victims, which examines colour blindness and racial bias within systems of power. Her research further focuses on prison reform, HIV in prison populations, and police brutality. In addition to her advocacy work, she teaches Environmental Law, equipping students with knowledge of legal systems, environmental justice, and civic responsibility. She remains deeply committed to uplifting Black and Indigenous youth and dismantling systemic barriers through education, leadership, and community impact.
