Broad Theatrics is Victoria's hottest little theatre company, creating exciting and innovative theatre productions and comedy events. Created in early 2011 by Artistic Producer Kirsten Van Ritzen, an acclaimed professional actor and comedienne with two decades experience performing across Canada and the US.Kirsten has produced eight wildly successful seasons (155 episodes) of "Sin City the Live Improvised Serial"  - nominated for two M Awards -as well "Funny Women Festival" , "Geeze Louise", Fringe plays, and new play readings. Intro to IMPROV COMEDY for adults!  Three week summer session with a focus on the FUN.

JAMES BAY NEW HORIZONS SOCIETY

7-9 PM THURSDAYS Aug. 8, Aug. 15, Aug. 22 James Bay New Horizons 234 Menzies Aimed at beginners, the focus will be on having FUN! Get silly playing with others in a variety of drama games and comedy scenes. No pressure, no homework, lots of laughs! Open level, ages 16 +.Instructor: Actor/improvisor Kirsten Van Ritzen is a founding member and creator of THREE Award-winning improv troupes: Victoria's SIN CITY IMPROV SERIAL (8 seasons 150+ episodes) , Toronto's SIN CITY 5 seasons at THE SECOND CITY, and Edmonton's legendary DIE-NASTY SOAP OPERA.
