In-Person Pre-Application APCAT
Successful APCAT required to submit application to the Calgary Police Service.
You must have completed the pre-application registration form and received a unique file number prior to registering.
The APCAT is a mandatory, job-related written examination. This exam is a provincial standard; results are valid for five years from the date of the test and transferrable to all municipal police agencies in the province.
The APCAT consists of 120 multiple choice questions and applicants must achieve a score of 70 per cent to pass (84/120). The exam is approximately three hours in duration.
