Inclusion Arcade Workshop
Community members can learn about disability advocacy through an interactive, hands-on exploration of the world of adaptive gaming.
Accessibility doesn’t stop when we go online - these workshops, hosted by Ampere and Inclusion Arcade, feature truly incredible assistive technology designed to remove barriers to gaming and the digital world.
The Inclusion Arcade workshop offers a hands-on look at the world of adaptive gaming. Participants will explore specialized controllers, assistive technology, and software customizations that break down barriers in play. It’s an interactive session where community members can learn about disability advocacy through the lens of modern gaming, ensuring that nobody gets left on the sidelines.
This is designed as an all-ages, inclusive experience. Whether it's kids, teens, or adults with physical disabilities (and their families), the goal is to show that gaming is for everyone.
Date: Friday, June 5
Times: Workshop 1 runs 4 to 5:30 p.m., Workshop 2 runs 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Registration is not required but a Courtesty RSVP will help us understand in advance how many attendees we might expect.
