<H3>What the Indigenous Blockchain Roundtable is all About</H3>
The Indigenous Blockchain Roundtable is a conversation between Indigenous community leaders, citizens and youth, industry, Blockchain and technology companies, government and NGO bodies to understand and identify opportunities around the adoption and use of Blockchain and cryptocurrency.
The Indigenous Blockchain Roundtable is centred around understanding and inspiration and will inform future discussions and Roundtables to lay the groundwork for future projects in Indigenous, Blockchain and cryptocurrency communities.
 
<H3>Why Now?</H3>
Historically, the Indigenous community in Canada has been at a disadvantage and has not been included in discussions about the advancement and adoption of cutting edge (or any) technology.
The Indigenous voice, while protected, has neither been heard nor encouraged to participate in the Canadian economy. Self sustaining economic initiatives, stability and enrichment of communities has not been discussed. By providing a forum to foster discussion and educate we aim to empower Indigenous participation and leadership in Blockchain technologies and cryptocurrency projects.
The future is connected. It's time the Indigenous voice is included and heard!
