About this Event

An Indigenous Community Conversation

First Nations, Inuit and Métis community members are invited to join City of Ottawa staff for an afternoon of conversation and information sharing.

Have your voice heard in the city where you live, work & play!

2:00-3:00 p.m. | Networking/Refreshments

Visit Pop Up City Hall Booths

3:00-3:30 p.m. | Opening Prayer, Official Welcome from Mayor Jim Watson & Guests

Introduction of Table Facilitators

3:30-5:00 p.m. | World Cafe - Round Table Discussions

5:00 p.m. | Indian Taco Dinner & Cultural Entertainment

Visit with City Staff involved with: Ottawa’s Reconciliation Action plans, (Culture, Employment, Children's Services and Health), Transportation Master Plan, Official Plan and Urban Greenspace, Ottawa Public Library and Library and Archives Canada Joint Facility, Solid Waste Master Plan, Community Safety and Well-Being and more!
