Indigenous Entrepreneur Training Pilot Program

Formed in 1987, the Alberta Indian Investment Corporation (AIIC) services extend to all First Nations communities in Alberta.  AIIC provides interest bearing loans to First Nations entrepreneurs for the purposes of establishing, acquiring, modernizing or expanding businesses.  AIIC also provides business development assistance, ongoing managerial support and training.

The six-part Indigenous entrepreneur workshop series focuses on educating aspiring and current Indigenous entrepreneurs.

The six-part Indigenous entrepreneur workshop series focuses on educating aspiring and current Indigenous entrepreneurs about the best practices in creating an enterprise or business. Upon successful completion of the workshop series, participants will partake in:
Module 1: What is an entrepreneur? Why become an entrepreneur?
Module 2: Building Constant Improvement into Your Life &amp; Business
Module 3: Marketing Your Talent
Module 4: Pitching Day – Present your company, get feedback, learn from others
Module 5: How do you tell if you are making money? 
Module 6: Creating Vision for Your and Your Business
