Toronto’s Indigenous Waterways event will raise awareness of, build connection to, and encourage people to take action related to the waterways of our city by providing an indigenous perspective and approach on relating to and caring for our watersheds.
This event will support our latest initiative, Rivers Rising, by creating a space to share and understand the relationship the Indigenous community has with water (and the land) in order to strengthen the capacity of Toronto’s diverse communities in coming together to create a blue-green city.

10:45am –  Introduction to Toronto Green Community & event partner, Evergreen
