Infinite Threads Workshop

A textile creation session using threads and embroidery to stitch together stories.

During this workshop, you will use basic stitching and embroidery techniques while engaging in playful group activities. We will create something inspired by the role of thread as a metaphor for infinite connections. At the end of the session, you will take a small personal textile art ready to hang.This is an open door class. Visitors to the gallery will be able to view and interact with participants.No previous experience necessary. All levels and ages are welcome.Materials will be supplied. Participants are welcome to bring personal pieces of textiles and threads they would like to work on. PWYC. Spots are limited.Free for accompanied children under 12. Please indicate if you are bringing your child.About the facilitatorsViolante Binazzi is an international art educator, with experience in working in museums, schools and european projects.She is the founder of the Intregral Art Method which combines physical and emotional self-awareness techniques with the appreciation and creation of art. She is experienced in teaching and facilitating workshops and art events for groups of all ages and levels.Being deeply committed to the environment and the future of life on earth, it is important for her to be socially and environmentally responsible in all aspect of her work.
