The Government of Canada is launching a series of new cleantech challenges sponsored by Environment and Climate Change Canada and other departments, through the Innovative Solutions Canada (ISC) program.

The themes of the new challenges will include: plastic recycling, waste reduction, and air purification.

Specific Challenges include:

• Plastics Challenge – Textiles and Microfibers
• Plastics Challenge - Sustainable Alternatives to Plastic Packaging
• Plastics Challenge – E-Waste
• Plastics Challenge - In-situ Sensing Technology for Monitoring Microplastics in the Marine Environment
• Plastics Challenge - Diverting End of Life Vehicle Plastics from Landfills

ISC operates two streams with a combined funding of over $140 million dedicated to Canadian innovators who want to start, grow, and get to market.
