InsituSIM Launch Webinar

In conjunction with Process Ecology and InnoTech Alberta, COSIA is excited to launch InSituSim!

InsituSIM is an innovative cloud-based software to support the evaluation of new technologies and operating policies for insitu oil sands facilities.

The tool enabled users to perform techno-economic evaluations of various configurations and operating conditions at oil sands in-situ facilities, including additional water treatment technologies as well as improved selection of key performance indicators.The software is not only about GHG emissions reduction but also includes alternative water treatment technologies and it can be used to simulate multiple Steam-Assisted Gravity Drainage Central Processing Facility (SAGD CPF) configurations.

Examples of these features include:

- Water treatment technologies (Membrane, Disposal Water Treatment, and Ion Exchange blocks)

- Risk-based analysis via Monte Carlo simulation

- KPI Manager

- Improved models for Boilers and HRSG

- Many other usability enhancements and improvements

This webinar will showcase InsituSIM's functionality and technology testing & screening support being offered to users by InnoTech Alberta.
