On the Panel: 
Kathleen Sharpe, Executive Director; Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund Kathleen Sharpe is a senior manager in government and the cultural sector.  She has been Executive Director of the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund since its inception in 1999.  The Fund, a unique program established to support cultural tourism attractions through a combination of grants and loans, has committed over $63 million to almost 600 cultural tourism projects around Ontario. Prior to OCAF, Kathleen was Director of the Culture Division of the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto, a post she held from 1991 until amalgamation of the municipality into the City of Toronto in 1998.  Kathleen’s leadership led to the adoption by Metro Council of its first comprehensive cultural policy, Metro’s Culture Plan, in 1994.  She managed the transition of cultural programs and staff of 150 during the changeover from Metro to the new amalgamated City of Toronto.  Kathleen has also held management positions at the Ontario College of Art and Design and The Banff Centre.  Kathleen is president of the Canadian Conference of the Arts, chair of the Toronto Arts Foundation board; past-chair of Toronto Artscape; and most recently has become a member of the newly formed Civic Theatres board. She sits on many advisory committees including those for Nuit Blanche, the Ontario Not for Profit Network and Canadian Pluralism in the Arts in Ontario.
Caroline Matt, Cultural Funding Officer, City of Ottawa Caroline has spent her entire career working with and for artists and arts organizations. After studying music, and a few years in the orchestral world as an arts administrator, Caroline has now been a grant officer for over 10 years. She is a currently a Cultural Funding Officer for the City of Ottawa, where she holds, amongst others, the music and arts festivals portfolios.  
Brodie Fraser, Active8 Solutions  Brodie Fraser is the owner of Active8 Solutions—businesses that specializes in fundraising for festivals in the City of Ottawa. Active8’s services include grant and proposal writing, sponsorship program development and long-term strategic planning for festivals. Peter Honeywell, Executive Director, Ottawa Arts Council Peter was born and raised in Ottawa and began his career as a visual artist specializing in textile design from 1973 to 1988, and exhibited his work in galleries in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto. He has held the position of Executive Director of the Ottawa Arts Council since 1990.  At the local level, he has held positions on numerous arts juries and committees including, the Grants Committee of the Community Foundation of Ottawa, the Algonquin College General Arts and Science Advisory Committee and the Ottawa Art Gallery Expansion and Arts Court Redevelopment Project Steering Committee. He received the Order of Ottawa in 2013.   At the provincial level he acted as Board Member and Chair of Community Arts Ontario from 1995 to 2000. He received the Sandra Tulloch Award for Innovation in the Arts in 2007, held membership on the Ontario Minister’s Advisory Council for Arts and Culture from 2010 to 2015.  He currently holds a Board position with the Ontario Non-profit Network.
Doug Little, Director of Development, Team Behind Bluesfest Doug is recognized as one of the most capable festival professionals in Canada. Doug has been in the Festival's industry since 1986. For the 12 years he carried out grant writing, media sponsorship, marketing and communications of the Canadian Tulip Festival garnering twenty-six Ontario Festivals awards plus five International Festival & Events Association awards.
He is a founder and former President of Festivals Ontario, former Vice-President of the Canadian Association of Festivals and Events, and former President of Ontario Downtowns.  In 2004, he was inducted in the Festival and Events Ontario Hall of Fame. He is also a former journalist and is the author of Losing Mariposa, a memoir published in 2002.  Over his career he has successfully applied for literally millions of dollars in grants. In 2009 he began dividing his attention among several clients preparing grant applications and providing tourism development services.  His clients currently include Ottawa Bluesfest, Ottawa Folk Fesival, Ottawa Chamberfest, Ottawa Race Weekend and the Rideau Canal Festival in Ottawa;  Sarnia Bayfest and Canada Blooms across Ontario; and Canada’s DRUM from Halifax, NS.
