Interfaith Iftar & Panel Event

24 Ferrand DrToronto, ON
Sunday, Mar 8 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm EDT
Overview

International Women's Day – Living the Continuum of Faith in Practice

Join us for an interfaith community iftar on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in North York. This special evening is organized by CCMW's Ontario Chapter, in partnership with Toronto Area Interfaith Council and the National Alliance for the Advancement of Pluralistic Societies.

This interfaith iftar is being held intentionally on International Women’s Day, in celebration of the 2026 theme, “Give To Gain,” which affirms that generosity, collaboration, and shared responsibility are essential to advancing women’s equality. By gathering across faiths to share dialogue, food, and community, we are honouring this year's team and putting it into action - demonstrating that when we give time, care, and solidarity to women and one another, the impact multiplies and our communities grow stronger together.

As the sun sets, we will break fast together over a communal meal and celebrate the spirit of Ramadan through shared understanding and fellowship. All are welcome to participate in this inclusive gathering of faith, dialogue, and community.
