Python is an open source programming language that is used for creating web applications, web content, mathematics and system scripting.

In this course you will learn the basics of coding in Python! Prior coding knowledge is not required for this introductory class. Participants will gain an overview of Python, including a introduction to basic commands and computing structures. Basic computer skills are required (navigating Windows).Coming soon in Spring 2026 Toronto Public Library will be doing all registration via our new website and will be closing our registration via Eventbrite.
