In this class you will learn the basics of Risograph printing, and leave with 15 prints of your own!

In this class you will learn how risograph printing works, how to prepare files, and tips for designing quality risograph prints. This class is non software specific. I will be explaining how to create good files and offering tips, but you can use any software you want (Adobe suite, Afinity Designer, Inkscape, etc). Risograph is a method of printing similar to screen printing, but it is an automated process. You will get a chance to experiment with the printer, and ultimately print 15 of your own design using up to 3 inks. We only have Violet, black and sunflower inks currently. This course is not intended for you to produce sales-quality final prints, but it is to learn how to use the technology. Expect to experiment and learn, and leave with something fun! After taking this class, you can reserve the Risograph printer at Radiosnack to produce your work.
