We are an artistic marketplace based in Ottawa, Ontario.Our aim is to celebrate and promote Ottawa's artistic talent by hosting our own Square Lemon workshops, and providing rentable space for guest artists to hold their own workshops. We are based at the Square Lemon HQ, Unit 14, 2350 Stevenage Drive, Ottawa, K1G 3W3If you are a local crafter or craft enthusiast, follow us to stay up to date on upcoming events!

Square Lemon is running an Introduction to: Using your Sewing MachineOver a cup or two of tea (or coffee), you will learn:<ul><li>How to maintain and clean your machine</li><li>Sew a simple item</li><li>Sewing machine hints and tips</li></ul>This class will last 1.5 hours and will cover the basics of using a sewing machine. The class runs weekly, and you can return to learn more about sewing machines if you wish to increase your skills.You can bring your own sewing machine, or you can try one of the basic ones at Square Lemon.There will be thread, notions and patterns available at the class.Tea, coffee and water are provided for free. Pop and snacks are available at a $1 per item charge.FAQs What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?Square Lemon HQ is at Unit 14, 2350 Stevenage Drive, Ottawa, K1G 3W3, and there is free parking available. Unfortunately there is no regular, reliable bus route. What can I bring into the event?Please bring your machine if you want to learn more about it.About Square Lemon&#x27;s facilities:<ul><li>Free parking.</li><li>An accessibility ramp is available at the front or side door</li><li>Baby changing table</li><li>Large ground floor washroom</li><li>Smaller upstairs washroom</li><li>Free coffee and tea.</li><li>Snacks and sodas available for purchase at $1.</li><li>Bell Fibe Internet access.</li></ul>Please note that access to the upper floor is only by stairs - we have no elevator.
