From Inuit throat singing to 808-hip-hop beats, join us for an unforgettable immersive evening of genre-bending music and diasporic dancefloor beats. The night will feature multiple Vancouver premieres by some of Canada’s brightest stars in South Asian, Indigenous, Queer, Filipinx, and diasporic music and movement. As communities long excluded from popular culture reclaim spaces to be heard and be seen, Conjuring the Future makes space for many voices and bodies to weave, flow, and dance together. Are there services fees on top of the ticket price?
For your convenience our listed ticket prices include GST. Service fees will be added at checkout.


Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

This event is 19+. Two pieces of ID are required for entry.


Is there reserved seating?

This event has a mix of seating &amp; standing room. Seating is first-come first-served.


Will there be tickets available at the door?

While there may be some tickets available at the door, we recommend buying in advance as many events do sell out. The box office will open at 8:00 pm the day-of the event. Tickets at the door will be available for purchase by cash or credit card while supplies last.


What is the refund policy for this event?

Refunds are not available for any Indian Summer Festival events.


What is the accessibility of this event?

Mobility Access: The main floor of the Imperial is wheelchair and scooter accessible, including ramps into the main theatre room as well as a main floor accessible washroom. The entrance to the venue is at street level.

Parking: There is no designated wheelchair accessible parking, only street parking around the neighbourhood.

Bathrooms: There is one single stalled wheelchair accessible bathroom, located on the main floor. Multi-stall bathrooms will be gender neutral.

Low Vision: While the programming itself is auditory, this event will be in the dark, with limited seats, and much of the event involves standing, walking, or dancing. This event is not low-vision friendly. If there is any way we can make this event more accessible for you please get in touch (contact below).

Seating Plan: There are limited seats at this event - much of the event involves standing, walking, or dancing. Please get in touch (contact below) if reserving a seat is necessary for you.

Priority seating and early entry is available for this event for people with invisible disability, low vision, or chronic pain. We can arrange this onsite, or contact us to plan in advance.
