<P>James Gordon assembled his dream team last June at Guelph's lovely Heritage Hall. With Ian Bell on accordion, mandolin, banjo and harmonica, Jeff Bird on bass, harmonica and mandolin, Anne Lindsay on fiddle and vocals,Tannis Slimmon on vocals, Katherine Wheatley on guitar and vocals, and twelve compelling new James Gordon songs, the team recorded all week 'off-the-floor', ending in a sold-out live concert. The result is "The Heritage Hall Sessions", Gordon's 40th and perhaps best album! The CD launch concert re-unites the group except for Anne, who is in VIetnam! Each of these great musicians are soloists too, so they'll be sharing their own material along with the new Gordon songs in what is shaping up to be a remarkable, intimate evening.
